Chillz Studios advanced Build A Boat For Treasure to its Logic Update cycle on June 24, 2026, introducing programmable states via the new Gate and Display Block mechanics.
The Display Block, priced at 96 Gold per 16 units, dynamically mimics the hexadecimal RGB color value of the switch or button that activates it. This enables the construction of functional in-engine RAM matrices and programmable state machines directly inside builds.
The Gate block introduces a binary input/output logic primitive, allowing conditional triggering of cannons, thrusters, and hinges based on player actions or sensor input.
Combined with the existing Button, Switch, and Piston blocks, the Logic Update unlocks puzzles, traps, and automated machines far beyond what the original sandbox supported.
Players should expect the AFK grinder meta to evolve as new logic components enable more deterministic cycle triggers and self-resetting builds.
